Management Safety and Insurance

Jonathan Zieman, P. L. (Eng.)

Mr. Zieman is a Professional Licensee (Engineering) through APEGA and a P.Tech (Eng.) through ASET. Mr. Zieman is the President of Envirotech Engineering and has been with Envirotech since it’s inception in 2001. Mr. Zieman specializes in contaminated site evaluation, remediation and risk management. Mr. Zieman has 23 years’ cumulative experience in the contaminant assessment, remediation and risk management field. Projects have involved Phase I, II & III Environmental Audits, soil and groundwater contaminant assessment-delineation drilling programs, UST removal, groundwater monitoring, and remediation of impacted sites. Mr. Zieman’s interests and expertise involve the development of waste management / environmental monitoring programs and the development, management and coordination of soil and groundwater risk management and remediation systems/programs.

Health & Safety Program

Envirotech has been an associate member of the Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA) since 2001 and has maintained our ACSA membership since that time. We expanded our Small Employer Certificate of Recognition (SECOR) safety program in early 2013 to a Certificate of Recognition (COR) to accommodate the growth of our firm. We and since have received greater then 90% on all our COR audits in recognition of our focus on safety, continued excellence and participation in the ACSA COR program.

INSURANCE & WCB

Envirotech maintains $2,000,000.00 Professional Liability Errors & Omissions Insurance and $2,000,000.00 General Liability Insurance in support of our consulting practice and the procurement requirements of our clients.

Envirotech has been in good standing with the Alberta Workers Compensation Board since 2001 and is currently a member of the partners in industry reduction (PIR) program. We were recognized as a Best Safety Performer by Work Safe Alberta in 2008 and have proudly maintained a zero-incident rating with the WCB since our inception.

Envirotech is permitted in good standing (Permit #P07545) with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).

ESSA

Envirotech has maintained a membership with the Environmental Services Association of Alberta since 2002. As an industry organization, ESAA communicates with all levels of government and industry in order to promote environmentally sound and economically viable business practices in Alberta and advises us of changes in environmental regulations that may affect our Clients.
